Salt & Ash started as a passion project whipping up soap and scrubs in a tiny kitchen. in 2016, our founder, Ashton (an artist), who loved the intersection of art and chemistry, taught herself to make cold process soap. She focused on clean, simple ingredients and good scents. Fast forward six years to 2022, and a Salt & Ash storefront in the heart of Indianapolis was born.
Now alongside premium scented bath and body that we make in house, you can shop curated accessories and size-inclusive apparel, boutique gifts, candles, home decor, and more. We curate trendy and high quality goods so you can treat yourself from head to toe.
In our boutique you'll also find an incredible selection of handmade goods, jewelry, and upcycled apparel from local woman-owned makers and artisans. Many of these items are one of a kind and only shoppable in person.

This was my first time trying any kind of multi-use skin oil and this is exactly what I needed! It’s moisturizes while having a really nice, not overpowering scent and isn’t sticky or too oily that you’re getting stains on your clothes or keeping you oily too long. It obsorbs into the skin very well. I will definitely be keeping this in my go-to products.
